VET Diet Struvit is used in adult dogs to dissolve struvite stones and reduce recurrence of struvite stones. This diet is characterized by a moderate content of high-quality protein, as well as reduced magnesium and phosphorus levels and urinary acidifying properties, resulting in a significant reduction in urinary pH. The slightly increased sodium content supports the flushing of the urinary tract by increasing water absorption.

Supplementary information:

• For an optimal stone-dissolving effect, only feed Happy Dog VET Diet Struvit. Supplementary food should be discussed with the attending veterinarian.
• Ideally, the changeover to a suitable follow-up feed should take place in 10% steps over a period of at least 2-4 weeks.
• To prevent struvite stones, you should reduce the specified feeding amount (daily requirement) by approx. 20 - 25 % and replace it with a normal Happy Dog dry food. Please check your dog's urine pH value regularly.
• Unless otherwise recommended by your vet, offer the medical dog food in several small portions per day.
• The amount of food should be adapted to your dog's individual metabolism and may need to be reduced or increased in moderation.
• You should offer your dog water for free intake.
• Recommended feeding duration: five to twelve weeks to dissolve struvite stones. To reduce recurrence of struvite stones, initially up to six months.
• When mixed feeding with Happy Dog VET Diet Struvit dry food, please note: 100 g wet food corresponds to 30 g dry food
