Happy Cat VET Diet Struvit is a complete dietary food for dissolving struvite stones and reducing the risk of new struvite stones forming in cats. The food is also suitable for cats with Feline Urological Syndrome (FUS). This special food is characterized by high-quality protein, reduced magnesium and phosphorus levels and acidifying properties that significantly lower the pH value of the urine. The slightly increased sodium content promotes flushing of the urinary tract through increased water absorption. The herbs dandelion and stinging nettle are traditionally used to supplement conventional urinary tract therapy.

Additional information:

• For optimal stone dissolution, feed exclusively. Supplementary feeding should be discussed with the attending veterinarian.
• Ideally, the changeover to a suitable supplementary feed should be made in 10% increments over a period of at least 2-4 weeks.
• To prevent the formation of struvite stones, mix the food 1:1 (1/2 portion each) with the regular Happy Cat dry food. Please check the pH value of the urine regularly.
• Unless otherwise recommended by your vet, offer several small meals a day.
• The amount of food should be adapted to the animal's individual metabolism and moderately reduced or increased if necessary.
• Ensure free access to fresh drinking water.
• Recommended feeding period: five to twelve weeks to dissolve struvite stones. To reduce the formation of new struvite stones, initially up to six months.
• When mixed feeding with Happy Cat VET Diet Struvite wet food, please note: 100 g wet food corresponds to 21 g dry food.
